Happy February club members!
This month is extra special because it marks our THREE year anniversary of the launch of Wine Club
What started as an idea to bring more GOOD wine into the hands of our customers, has grown into a large community of people who not only love GOOD wine, but love wine that is GOOD for us and for the planet.
In the past 3 years we have been able to support small producers all over the world and introduce you to wines you can't find anywhere else.
We can't thank you all enough for the endless support you've given us as we grow our club. Some of you have even been members since DAY ONE!
To kick-off the start of our 3rd year, we have our monthly pick-up party THIS Friday, from 5-9pm. If it's raining, we will host our party in the main dining room of the restaurant instead of the Wine Lounge. So don't let a little rain deter you from coming and enjoying some live music, great wine and small bites.
We have 3 amazing red wines this month, a 2017 Chianti Classico from Bucciarelli, a 2016 French Malbec that chef Sarah is very excited about (she loves a big red that needs food as a pairing). And a 2018 Nebbiolo from Malvira that has great aging potential if you are looking for one to tuck away for a while.
On the white wine side I am SO excited to bring you the newest vintage of my favorite skin-contact wine from Rodica out of Slovenia. This wine has all the best elements of a skin-contact wine, it's juicy but not sweet, light tannins without being too dry and truly evolves in the glass. I hope you all like it as much as I do.
We also have a small production Grenache Blanc from Kinero Cellars out of Paso Robles, and a crushable Pinot Grigio from Italy to round it out.
We really do love what we do an appreciate you so much.
